Refund Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-14. This policy governs refunds for credits purchased on aichat-studio.
1. Overview
We offer a 14-day cooling-off period aligned with EU law, plus an unused-credit refund available at any time. The exceptions in §2-§5 describe what is and is not refundable.
2. 14-day cooling-off (EU and UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the order without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email [email protected] with subject Refund request before the 14 days expire. We will refund the unused portion of the purchased credits.
Important — digital-content exception. Once you trigger any AI enrichment, format conversion, or other credit-spending call, the Service is treated as performance begun with your prior consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will be lost, in accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 37). From that point only the unused remainder of the pack is refundable; credits already consumed are not.
3. Unused-credit refund (all users, any time)
Outside the 14-day cooling-off window, you may still request a refund of any credits you have not consumed. We refund the prorated price of unused credits. Credits already consumed are non-refundable.
4. How to request a refund

Refund request. - Include: (a) the email address on your aichat-studio account; (b) the Creem charge ID (visible at /convert/pricing after sign-in); (c) brief reason (optional).
- We acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and respond within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed via Creem and reach your original payment method within 10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
5. What we cannot refund
- Credits already consumed by AI enrichment or format conversion (per the EU digital-content exception in §2).
- Charges disputed solely on the basis of subjective satisfaction with AI output quality. AI output is inherently variable; we describe this in our Terms §10.
- Charges where the requester is not the account holder of record.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory consumer right you cannot waive by contract under applicable mandatory law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or other local consumer-protection statutes.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us first. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in account suspension pending resolution because they incur disproportionate processor fees. If you have a legitimate billing dispute, we are committed to resolving it quickly via the process in §4.
