Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-14 · Version 1.0.0-draft
Effective date: 2026-06-14. This policy describes what is and is not allowed when using aichat-studio. Read it together with our Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets boundaries on what content you may create, edit, store, or generate using the Service. Violations may result in account suspension or termination as described in §10.
2. SFW-only baseline
aichat-studio is a safe-for-work (SFW) editor. Do not use the Service to create, edit, or generate content that is sexually explicit, graphically violent, or otherwise unsuitable for a general audience. Specifically prohibited:
- Sexually explicit content of any kind.
- Content depicting minors in sexual or sexualised contexts (see §3 — zero tolerance).
- Graphic violence, torture, or gore presented for shock value.
- Content designed to facilitate or glorify self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
3. Zero-tolerance prohibitions
The following are prohibited absolutely and trigger immediate termination without refund, with reporting to law-enforcement authorities where required:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. We report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to local authorities as required by law.
- Content advocating terrorism, mass violence, or genocide.
- Doxxing, stalking, or distribution of non-public personal information without consent.
4. No impersonation
Do not create character cards or content that impersonates a real living person without their explicit, demonstrable consent. Public-figure parody, commentary, and educational use within applicable fair-use limits are permitted, but the resulting card must be clearly identifiable as parody / commentary and must not falsely attribute statements to the real person.
5. No harassment
Do not use the Service to create content targeting an identifiable individual or group for harassment, threats, intimidation, or hate. This includes content that targets people based on protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious illness).
6. No copyright infringement
Do not upload, edit, or distribute content that infringes a third party's intellectual-property rights. We respond to valid takedown notices under applicable copyright law (DMCA-equivalent procedures). Send notices to [email protected] with subject Copyright.
7. No fraud or abuse
- No chargeback fraud or false refund claims.
- No unauthorised access attempts against the Service or against other users.
- No resale, sharing, or transfer of credits except as expressly permitted.
- No automated scraping or other access that circumvents our rate limits or technical controls.
8. No malware
Do not upload files or input designed to compromise the Service, exfiltrate data, or otherwise harm us or other users.
9. AI output is your responsibility
AI-generated text reflects probabilistic predictions of third-party models. Review every output before publishing, sharing, or relying on it. The fact that an output came from our AI does not transfer responsibility for that output to us; you remain responsible for what you choose to do with it.
10. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion, warn you, restrict specific features, suspend your account, or terminate it for AUP violations. Serious violations — including any §3 prohibition — trigger immediate termination without refund of consumed credits. Unused credits remain refundable per our Refund Policy except where the termination follows §3.
11. Reporting violations
If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this AUP, email [email protected] with subject AUP report. Include enough detail for us to identify the content or account, but please do not include CSAM in any report — describe it instead. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days.
